What we collect

CrumbLab is a free sourdough baking tool. We collect as little data as possible:

• Account (optional): If you create an account, we store your email address, display name, theme preference, and any recipes or journal entries you save.
• No tracking: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.
• No ads: We do not show advertisements or sell your data.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies:

• Session cookie (crumblab_session): If you log in, this cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days. It is HttpOnly and cannot be read by JavaScript.
• Theme preference: Stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie). This remembers your chosen theme between visits.

We do not use any marketing, analytics, or third-party cookies.

Affiliate links

Our shop page contains affiliate links to external stores (such as Amazon and Bol.com). When you click these links, the external store may set their own cookies. We earn a small commission on purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you. This helps support CrumbLab's development.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely on our server. We do not share your data with third parties. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through your account settings.
